The synthetic 100g fill offers insulation even in wet weather conditions, and it uses minimal space in the pack but delivers a high warmth per weight ratio.
Even though it is ideal for wearing over a waterproof, it's sized for everyday wear, so if you do want to wear it over a waterproof go for a larger size than you usually would.
