The synthetic 100g fill offers insulation even in wet weather and the insulation extends to the handwarming pockets. It uses minimal space in the pack but delivers a high warmth per weight ratio.

Even though it is ideal for wearing over a waterproof  it's sized for everyday wear, so if you do want to wear it over a waterproof go for a larger size than you usually would.
