We were heavily involved with Zamberlan in the design of this boot and this resulted in a boot that matched everything we wanted from a pair of very light boots. The leather upper provides better wear and gives first level of water resistance which is then backed up by the Gore-Tex waterproof breathable lining. The Zamberlan ladies' fit is superb and combined with the soft leather, padded ankle and shock absobing sole, this is now one of our most popular hiking boots.
